Roger Love is an inspiration to all who meet him. I have known Roger over 25 years, since he was in High School. I have had the privilege of watching him grow up and to overcome many obstacles in his life. He grew up in poverty on Chicago’s Westside and worked hard to graduate from high school in the midst of very difficult circumstances. He went on to college and was successful not only academically but also in sports and particularly crossing racial barriers and most are unable to navigate. Roger has gone on to have a very thriving career in the car business. Roger has raised 3 wonderful children along with his amazing wife, both are an encouragement to all of us here at Lawndale Community Church. Roger has terrific insights that are transferable to all areas of life. His positive outlook on life is contagious and encourages all people.
