The world is forever changing especially in the job market. Companies are downsizing and many are asking you to do more with less. Today, Forbes magazine reported that happy people on the job are out numbered 2 to 1. Which means people are fed up…. they hate their jobs… going in and tolerating a daily environment of negativity and demotivation to feed a house in which their families are depending on. Why is it that people are unhappy? I firmly believe people become stuck in their circumstances because they do not have a “Championship State of Mind.”
Many of us spend our days searching for the WEEKEND,
using it as our Championships going to the club to celebrate and spending money you don’t have clubbing and you’re broke and most of all spiritually broken again on Monday.
So many people are parting, drinking, relaxing instead of reading, educating and motivating themselves into believing that they can do better.
Right now is a great time to become an entrepreneur or prepare for that raise or advancement on your job , in your career, even improvements in your marriage, maybe even in school; inside of you there is something you want to accomplish in life.
* So what has to happen?
THE FIRST THING THAT Has TO HAPPEN IS …YOU HAVE TO GET SICK AND TIRED OF LOSING IN YOUR CURRENT Situation AS PEOPLE SAY. “The stuck inside the box mentality !”
What is it that you want? Think, Execute and Dominate. Think about what it is you ultimately desire. Make a plans for it… practice … Prepare for it and then go after it.
Believe(know in your mind you can and that it’s possible) that you can win your very own championship bout or battle . Make a commitment to succeed at what it is you ultimately desire. Don’t just become involved with the quest for your new championship…become submerged into it; winning your championship is a must do!
*** My very own coaching success story: I won 8 STRAIGHT CONSECUTIVE SECTIONAL WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS while teaching and coaching high school age students who had become accustomed to losing. They had no clue how to win or understood the importance of winning. Many of them soon after high school went to college and are living successful lives. How did I do it? It had to start with a vision of winning first. Then there had to be a change in CULTURE AND ATTITUDE of the team…How the team thought process was at that current time, right on down to their daily actions, habits and rituals.
As for you, in order to succeed and win your life’s championships you must know what’s it going to take to get there and understand the sacrifices required to achieve your championship. Study your craft, job, situations…get ready to battle. Prepare for set backs and losses. Learn from your mistakes. Know the players on your team if your are in competition…which you are. If your are a leader on your job or in charge of your operation, know when you have cut ties with people who are not on the page as you and your team. Keep positive people around you. There’s no room for negativity at all!
Measure your success daily and know how far and how long you have to go to achieve your championship and always know where you are at in the process.
Have ambition and be relentless… Never, Never give up.
Now when you win … Prepare and look for your next CHAMPIONSHIP quest.
Finally, know that you can win your Championships in life if you have a positive state of mind that says. Each day say this to yourself. I WILL ,I CAN, I MUST succeed to be Great!
My CHALLENGE to You Right NOW IS TO THINK BIG ABOUT A CHAMPIONSHIP YOU WANT TO WIN IN LIFE.
*Believe it is possible, strategize how you can get there! Make NO excuses.
Have a I CAN, I WILL ATTITUDE… That CHAMPIONSHIP MENTALITY!
Stay positive in tough and stalled situations.(MENTAL Toughness) If you face obstacles or set backs figure out how to overcome them. Seek out people who have won the Championships you are facing! Talk about it daily to the ones you love..Exercise and eat right, get proper rest. Never stop grinding. Go for it have no fear and be willing to take risks!
Know that this your season to be great!
Be Great,
Roger
